Exterior Design

On this concept truck, you will find round LED Daytime Running Lamps that smooth into the side profile. There is rugged underbody protection that features a centrally-mounted winch and carabiner. The Atlas logo is on the front end, and there is an amazing lighting display. When you open a door, the logo brightens, and the light runs over the grille's two crossbars.

Rugged plastic composes the wheel arch extensions, which contain high-gloss 20-inch wheels and side marker lights. The concept truck's rear door handles blend into the C-pillars. The rear fenders have strong, flared surfaces. 'Red Earth' is the color that the bed and cab are painted in. The Tanoak concept's rear has a low-hinged tailgate, which is typical of pickup trucks. Like on the front end, you will find the Atlas logo on the tailgate, which also has animated, wrap-around lighting. The tailgate's upper and lower areas have red LED strips that transform into 3D LED taillights on the concept truck's sides.

Interior Design

The VW Atlas Tanoak Pickup Truck concept has plenty of space for five people. The seating offers lateral support, which would be much appreciated during off-road travels. There is a touchscreen infotainment system, which one may operate easily because of its high positioning. Between the driver and front passenger you will find a shifter grip for the vehicle's eight-speed automatic transmission and the 4MOTION with Active Control. One may operate the shifter even with work gloves on.
